When you wear a suit have to feel like the character; act like the character, like the character walk and talk like the character, because when making a cosplay, which is trying to do is give life to the character.
Imagine a BATMAN speaking as a "Texan" simply should not be, but there, there are plenty out there "in disguise" because it remains the same but with a disguise over. That Cosplay is not treated, the Cosplay is, as I said above lines; to give life and in the manner as possible, put a human face as close to the character.
Some basic tips to achieve CHARACTERIZATION are
- Getting character information (this will help us understand why it works well).
- View all of their positions and react to mirror this really is not as easy as many people can not repeat a position in the first, so I recommend practicing a lot, same with the expression facial.
- If your character comes from a TV series (anime, cartoon, drama, etc..), Then listen to the dialogues of the character and try to talk like him and if possible, in the same tone. Not be the case (as the character comes from a manga, comic or game) very well I recommend studying the character to have a basic idea how to talk and tone.
- Ask your friends and acquaintances that when you see them playing ... BATMAN for example, to call them so, Batman or Bruce, so you will be helping to remind them of their role, because if they are called by name or nickname, then take them out of their role.
Most important, is to remember that when you put a suit, no longer you and become the character, if you can play with this idea in his mind, the rest is simple.
help and I hope you take this into account.
